Project LINUS! Make-A-Blanket Day

Nautical Yarn will host Make a Blanket Day on Saturday, February 18th from 12 noon until 4 PM.
We will have lessons on knitting and crocheting a blanket for donation to Project Linus, free printouts of Project Linus blanket patterns, discounts on yarn suitable for Project Linus blankets, food and drink and fellowship.

To DYE For       Marnie Nickelson
In the class To DYE For (April 19, 6:30 - 8:30), Marnie Nickelson will teach us how to dye yarn using Kool-Aid, icing dyes, and acid dyes. All you need are two large glass bowls. The $20.00 fee includes all supplies except for white wool yarn which may be purchased at Nautical Yarn.

Butterfly Loom     Pam McCallum
Learn to create beautiful scarves, shawls, ponchos, and more using the fun and simple Butterfly Loom, (date and time to be announced). This class, taught by Pam McCallum, requires no knitting or crocheting! All you need to do is wrap and tie. The class fee of $30.00 includes a loom. Bring odds and ends of leftover yarn to incorporate into your beautiful scarf.

12-Square Sweater     Cathy Baker
We look forward to the 12-Square Sweater class (date and time to be announced) to be taught by Cathy Baker. The sweater uses bits and pieces of smooth and novelty yarns. The result is stunning.

Class participants will earn credits toward Merrytime Academy discounts.
